And then my head exploded.

There’s a wicked cold front coming through and I’m pretty sure my head is about to explode. It’s one of those migraines that makes me dizzy and nauseous and completely useless. Honestly, the brightness of the computer screen is making black spots dance around the corners of my vision.

Why, yes. I am pathetic. Thanks for noticing.

And I’m pretty sure my child is a changeling, because that perfect picture of good behaviour who visited yesterday? He’s looooooong gone. At lunch, Boo decided to make peanut butter and jelly soup by dumping his entire sippy cup of milk on top of his sandwich. At dinner, he decided to pull a Van Gogh all over his tray. In ketchup. Which also makes a incredibly powerful styling gel, in case you were wondering.

Now he’s rolling in bed with his hands over his eyes, whining that I’m a mean mommy. And asking for a puppy. Not sure how that works, but there you go.

It’s hard to find humor in days like this. So… good night. I’m going to go lay down and dream sweet dreams about mini giraffes.

I want one so freaking bad. I would name him Nelson and he would sleep in Boo’s room. Like a guard dog. But miniature. And spotty.
